So a few weeks ago, my followers from twitter may remember that I went to have drinks with an ex of mine when I was back in Michigan. Well we went to this place called The Dragon Room (formerly 48 West) in downtown Grand Rapids. The spot was extremely dope!! But she had never been there!! I asked a few more people, and they hadn't been there before either. Now GR isn't a huge place so when it gets a new happening place, you have to champion it, or else it will be taken away because it costs money to run a business so if it isn't making money, it can't survive. This place was perfect for the evening as we were able to sit wherever we wanted to and really just catch up a bit. The decor of the place was amazing! It was all red inside and had a Japanese Samari type theme that was very appealing and she couldn't believe a place like that existed in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was a very good look. In accordance with The Dragon Room, another dope place you need to check for in Grand Rapids, is All City Kicks (www.allcitykicks.net) for your sneaker and attire needs. Its hard to beleive that people in the city STILL haven't been to the shop to check it out so I view it as my secret in most cases. Oh yea, and this is the pic from the place that she took. This is like directly in the doorway when you walk in. I love going to Michigan. Everything is soooooo much cheaper than it is in Chicago so I can go all night on a third of my Chicago budget so that spells new shirt and tie money for the kid!! And you should ALSO support PRSVR as I have heard they got some new stuff coming through the channels soon!! Be on the lookout
